Born in Canada but raised in Israel, singer/songwriter and producer Dorine Levy first broke into tastemaker consciousness in 2013 with her debut release "Lenyrose" - her intelligent, strikingly melodic take on indie pop made her an immediate hit with the likes of Wonderland, Shortlist, MTV and Indie Shuffle plus saw her receive plays on BBC 6 Music as well as invitations to perform at key industry events such as SXSW, CMJ and Culture Collide.
Now having spent the year in the studio in her apartment in Tel Aviv, Dorine presents us with "Crazier", the first single to be lifted from her upcoming EP Mima. "Crazier" merely continues where Dorine left off in terms of a talent for notably well-crafted pop tracks, tempered by a natural flair for hooks and vocal melody. Uplifting, pensive and sprawling in equal measure, "Crazier" seeks to cement Dorine as one of the finest gems in emerging indie pop today. Recalling the likes of Jonsi and Sia for the kind of elaborate, delicate soundscapes she's creating, this is a technical musical talent wrapped in an indie pop mode.
