Scavenger Hunt - Sweet Talk

After having unveiled the first single "River Runs Dry" from their forthcoming EP earlier this summer, Los Angeles-based duo Scavenger Hunt, comprised of producer/multi-instrumentalist Dan Mufson and vocalist/songwriter Jill Lamoureux, now return with the the EP's second cut called "Sweet Talk", an infectious 80s-tinged indie pop ditty that incorporates shimmering synths and Jill's captivatingly lush and syrupy vocals. Breathlessly hopeless but clearly infatuated, she sings, "you hit me with your sweet talk, honey / and I know that I've lost all control now / you've got a hold on me."

Speaking on the track, the duo says:

"Lyrically, 'Sweet Talk' is about control, or lack there of, the dynamics and the ups and downs of being in love. Musically, we wanted to create something that felt new and old at the same time. We think we nailed it."
