EXES - Sherman Oaks

Los Angeles-based duo EXES, comprised of singer/songwriter Allie McDonald and producer Mike Derenzo, never cease to amaze us for today they return with the unveiling of yet another deeply personal and highly-emotive indie pop gem called "Sherman Oaks", which also serves as the fifth track following "18", "twentythousand", "Like You" and "Dear, Home" to be lifted from their much-anticipated six-song debut EP, The Art Of Saying Goodbye, due out tomorrow (October 7th).

Speaking on the track, vocalist Allie McDonald says:

"I wrote 'Sherman Oaks' out of desperation and heartache, months ago, in the middle of the night. It was a song I needed to write in order to heal. I fell hard and fast for someone new - and when I tried to let go, I couldn’t."
