Los Angeles-based indie-pop duo Courtship, comprised of Eli Hirsch and Micah Gordon, first burst onto the music scene earlier this year with their debut single, "Stop For Nothing", which has since accumulated well-over 1.2 million Spotify plays. Now the two talented songwriters return today with the euphoric new track called "Love For Everyone", the sonic equivalent to a sunshine-soaked ride down the Pacific Coast Highway. A cheerful blend of alt-percussion, finger snaps, disco-tinged synths and hands in the air back up vocals, the blissful tune quickly finds itself in full-on anthem territory as it pleads for universal self-acceptance and tolerance, as the hook spins on loop, repeating "let go / love for everyone."
Speaking on the track, Courtship tells Billboard:
"Not trying to sound preachy, but we were just thinking about how no matter who you are, everyone has felt self conscious or anxious at a party. Like they don't know how to be themselves. So we wrote a song about an imaginary party where no one is left out and everyone feels super free to be and do whatever they want. 'Just follow but don't speak. Real fun comes in 3, I know just what you need...' We will let the people decide how to interpret the song."
