Katelyn Tarver - Hate To Tell You

On the heels of her recent collaboration with New York producer Fareoh on "Illegal", which earned placement on Spotify's New Music Friday playlist, both in the UK and in the US, rising Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter and actress Katelyn Tarver now returns with her second original song of the year called "Hate To Tell You", a cheeky ode to self-confidence and the unimpressed which sits somewhere between Chvrches' dreamy vocal-synth combo and a catchy pop tune you'd hear from the likes of Talyor Swift. Co-written and produced by BURNS, "Hate To Tell You" will be featured on Katelyn's upcoming debut EP, Tired Eyes, slated for release early next year via Duly Noted Records. The EP will also include her previously released single, "What Do We Know Now", a cover of Jeremih's "Planez" plus last year's viral hit "Weekend Millionaires"

Speaking on the track, Katelyn says:

"When I wrote this song, I was in the mood to be sarcastic and wanting to create a girl power song. I had just been to a terrible club in Hollywood, so the inspiration was easily accessible."
