Following her previous single, "
Ritual", released back in November, Barcelona-born, Stockholm-based dark-pop/alt-R&B artist Elsa Carmona (fka
Sirena) now returns with her equally mesmerizing follow-up single called "Run Baby Run", which further cements herself as one to watch in 2017. The track was co-written and produced by Fredrik Okazaki, who has previously worked with the likes of Robyn, Seinabo Sey and Naomi Pilgrim.
Speaking on the track, Elsa explains:
"It's ('Run Baby Run') a song about overthrowing any kind of dominant power, and it’s a song about revenge. I wrote it after being obsessed with Penny Dreadful, so I was using Vanessa Ives’ showdown with the devil as inspiration."
