After having greatly impressed us last year with two sensational singles, "Dreamland" and "Seventeen", the ladder which unanimously earned a well-deserved spot on ours (and Fringe Music Fix and MusicalHeARTBeat's) Best Songs of 2016 list, emerging Los Angeles-based songstress Tessa Rae returns today with her new single called "Young Blood", which also serves as the first single and title track off her forthcoming six-song debut EP, due out on February 3rd.
Speaking on the track, Tessa says:
"When I first started writing this song, I couldn’t get the phrase 'young blood' out of my head. It's a song about falling for someone older than you and realising how hard it can be to relate at times. What they saw as naïveté in my youth, I saw as strength and freedom."
