26-year old South African-born, New York City-based artist Sulene Van Der Walt, better known mononymously as Sulene (who also performed as a live guitarist for Nate Ruess' post-Fun. solo project, Aussie popstress Betty Who and tri-state area pop-punkers Candy Hearts), has today unveiled her booming and guitar-driven post-breakup anthem called "Haunting", which also serves as the second single following "What We Had" to be lifted from her forthcoming debut EP, Strange, due out on March 31st via Sleep Well Records.
Speaking on the track, Sulene says:
"'Haunting' is about that lingering feeling that creeps up on you at night when you end a difficult relationship in your life. I wanted to write a song about all the complications that go along with letting someone go - how even when the rational decision has been made and you’re moving on, that your heart may still be playing catch-up and trying to adjust."
