Los Angeles-based future-jazz vocalist and classically trained pianist Niia has just unveiled her sultry new single titled "Sideline", which is taken from her forthcoming debut album, I, due out on May 5th via Atlantic Records. Produced by longtime collaborator and Grammy-nominated producer Robin Hannibal (Rhye, Quadron, Kendrick Lamar, Chairlift, THE INTERNET), the album features Niia's signature smokey-smooth vocals and Braun's lush orchestration, classic production with modern electronic elements and an homage to classic jazz, blues and pop influences woven throughout. "Sideline" is the third taste of the album following "Hurt You First", a sultry R&B gem about "protecting yourself in a relationship" and "Last Night In Los Feliz", a gorgeous trip-hop reminiscent of Massive Attack.
