Industry" earlier this summer, which our dear friend Amy over at I Heart Moosiq described as a "fierce clattering pop song with a whole lot of cheeky attitude", Seattle-born, Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Gavrielle now returns with her latest offering called "Medicate", which is taken from her forthcoming debut EP, Hollywood Is Dead, due out on October 31st. Working with longtime friend and music producer Nick DiPietrantonio of nicopop, who moved in with Gavrielle to devote every waking minute to writing and recording the five tracks comprising the EP, "Medicate" documents Gavrielle's move to Los Angeles after graduating college and expecting to fulfill a life long dream. Upon arriving, she realizes that her journey and reality are far from what she mapped out. The song also details Gavrielle's relationship with "Mary Jane", who quickly becomes her constant through her trials and tribulations of growing into the artist she is today.
