Having received praise from renowned magazines and tastemaker blogs such as The Line of Best Fit, CLASH, Galore and Buzzfeed, Norwegian electro-pop artist Hanne Leland has today unveiled her brand new single called "Ego Talking", the follow-up to "
Underdogs", released late last year. Working with prolific British producer,
Hight, who has previously collaborated with the likes of Lily Allen, Tom Walker and Eliza & The Bear, just to name a few, "Ego Talking" is a lush and emotive synth pop banger where Hanne Leland bluntly sings about one of her biggest vices; jealousy.
Speaking on the single, Hanne says:
"
I wrote 'Ego Talking' about that really ugly feeling called jealousy, when the ego gets the best of you, even though you know it's wrong, and you know you should be happy for your ex when he/she finds someone new. It's most definitely a break-up song, vulnerable and raw with a dash of bitterness."
