Nola Wren - Other Boys

Chicago-born, Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter, producer and visual artist Kara Renee Francavillo, aka Nola Wren, has today released her brand new single called "Other Boys". Written and produced by Nola herself, "Other Boys" serves as the first track off her upcoming EP, Scream Into The Void, Pt. 2, which she says is currently in the works.

Offering a little backstory behind the track, Nola says:

"I have anxiety, and new relationships tend to make me especially anxious at the beginning.
I wrote this song back in December, in between panic attacks on my bedroom floor. It had been about a week since I'd started seeing a someone that I really liked, and was certain liked me back. When I opened up about my anxiety, I thought he'd be spooked, but he was very accepting. It made me like him more. Experiencing this unexpected connection with someone new pumped fresh blood in my veins — I call it Glitterblood. It doesn't matter that the boy who inspired 'Other Boys' ended up being just like the other boys. At least for a minute, he wasn't."
