Following the release of their critically acclaimed self-titled debut EP back in October of last year, Brooklyn-based tribal pop duo Manicanparty, comprised of Jessica Corazza and Patrick Morrisssey have just unveiled their new song, "Warpaint" the first single taken from their forthcoming second EP The District due out in June.
"The District is really about people. People in our lives and people that you hear about who aren't directly in your life, but that idea that we are all tied together somehow," they explain in a release. "We wanted to create this music where when the song is over you were suddenly inspired or motivated to do something, in whatever form that is for you. That's the great power of music. Its universal and its strong enough to make a change." Singer Jess continued, "we really feel we embodied our style and developed ourselves more as artists."
