Following the release of her self-titled debut EP back in 2012, which included the singles "From The Start" and "In A Little While" (video below), Melbourne-based singer/songwriter Maxi Vauzelle, better known mononymously as Maxi has just unveiled her long-awaited (and rather brilliant) new single "Walking With The Animals", produced and mixed by long time friend, collaborator and producer Joel Witenberg at Red Bull Studios in New York.
"Walking With The Animals" has been described as a coming-of-age single which retains Vauzelle's captivating layered vocal delivery and blends it with a marauding 80's break-beat aesthetic. In addition, this new single also signifies Maxi Vauzelle's maturation as a recording artist and gives her fans, both old and new alike a tiny taste of what's to come in the way of a future full-length album.
Maxi and her full band will launch their new single, "Walking With The Animals" on Thursday. July 10th at The Toff In Town with support from Lanks and Japanese Wallpaper.
