Following the release their previous single "Sienna" back in March, London's most sophisticated, up-and-coming outfit The Night VI, comprised of Sophie-Rose Harper (lead vocals), Jack Gourlay (guitar, back vocals), Anna Pesquidous (harp, backing vocals), Bogart Giner (bass, backing vocals), Kristy Buglass (keys, backing vocals) and Bo Morgan (drums) have just unveiled their most radio-ready single yet in the form of "Wonderlust."
In regards to the new single, The Night VI's Sophie-Rose Harper explains: "Wonderlust is about waiting for true love and a tale of a perfect encounter" continuing "My fascination with American Western-style B movies inspired the song. Set in a downtown dive bar filled with junkies and jukeboxes I imagined a woman possessed by her drunken fantasies that have spun out of control and her eccentricity is reeking of desperation. So following in the old country tradition it's an upbeat song with a sad and bitter core."
"Wonderlust" is scheduled for release on July 22nd via Duly Noted Records (IYES, Manou)
