The Ting Tings - Wrong Club

2009 Ivor Novello award winning Manchester-based duo The Ting Tings, comprised of Katie White and Jules De Martino are back with "Wrong Club". A sad, yet happy, club banger inspired by funk disco with a DNA firmly in Fleetwood Mac and Prince, laced with a touch of Philadelphia soul. Unwrapped there is something immediately nostalgic yet never pastiche.

Inspired by their travels through New York and Berlin, Ibiza was an accidental destination for the band to set up shop and record their upcoming third record.

Playful, honest, rhythmic and drenched in disco beats, "Wrong Club" is the perfect summer entrée to the bands third album. Within the first few rifts you’re hooked and when that synth vocal hits you, you’re transported into the uncompromising pop playground of The Ting Tings. As with all their records, this captures The Ting Tings now, as always with their fully-fledged creative license.

The single is scheduled for release on July 28th ahead of their as-yet-untitled forthcoming third studio album, co-produced by Andy Taylor of Duran Duran and mixed in New York at the legendary Avatar Studios straight onto analog tape. The album is slated for an autumn release.
