It's been exactly one week since we last found ourselves blogging about one of our favorite, somewhat local bands, Houston-based synth-pop trio BLSHS (pronounced Blushes), comprised of Michelle Miears, Rick Carruth and Chris Gore. A week ago they gave away a free download of a piano version of their debut single "Just Wait" as a way to say thank you to all their fans, and now today the trio returns with the official music video for their song "Gave It Away", directed by Houston-based film and video production company HD Publications and taken from their 6-song debut EP Abstract Desires which was released earlier this year on TEEEL's label Synth Records and is available now to purchase on either Bandcamp and/or iTunes.
Also, BLSHS have recently released a stellar cover "Everything Counts" by legendary electronic/synth-pop band Depeche Mode, which is included on Enjoy The Covers, a 13-track tribute compilation to the band brought to you by Synth Records, in conjunction with Trick Or Treat Radio, and IHeartSynths.com.
