The Night VI - Heroine

London-based six-piece The Night VI have just unveiled the video for their single "Heroine", directed by Toby Ross-Southall and taken from sophomore EP DIY released this past November on Duly Noted Records.

In regards to the video, harpist and in-house band artist Anna Pesquious explains:

"The video's concept started off as an idea I had about wanting to look closely at things, through a peep hole, but also focusing on a million different things at a time I wanted to show the beautiful side of something horrible. I was thinking we could be showing heroine's attractive, seductive highs in its naivety and beauty I guess, portraying heroine stripped of judgement and just the pure initial feeling it creates and what actually draws people into its poisonous trap. I would say the concept was basically illustrating the glorified internal image of tripping the shit out on heroine. We met Toby Ross-Southall by a beautiful coincidence and when I introduced my vision for the video he just got it to a new level and bounced off with amazing ideas and shooting on his really cool effect old school camera. We dug out all the props ourselves and it was just a real hands on experience of re-creating that feeling."

The Night VI are currently finishing up their yet to be named third EP, which is due out in September and includes their newest track "Too Late To Lie" (below). Pre-order the EP here.
