Following the release of her new single, "Down For Whatever", rising Los Angeles-based (via Texas) singer/songwriter Chelsea Lankes makes a welcome return today with "Too Young To Fall In Love", a cover of one of Mötley Crüe's earlier singles and more deeper cuts.
"I've always been a fan of the 80s and particularly hair metal," Chelsea says. "There are so many great lyrics and melodies from that era and dressed up a little differently, they can still be a really great pop song." Listen to "Too Young To Fall In Love" below.
Both "Too Young To Fall In Love" and "Down For Whatever" are out today (March 2nd) via B3SCI Records and available on limited edition 7-inch clear vinyl. You can also purchase the single on iTunes. To celebrate this release, Chelsea will take the stage in LA tonight (March 2nd) at School Night! Click here to RSVP for free admission.
Also, if you happen to be in our neck of the woods (Austin) later this month for SXSW, you can catch Chelsea Lankes performing alongside some other great artists at The Yard, a FREE, all-ages, outdoor music showcase presented by The Most Definitely and Wind-up Records. The event takes place at La Barbecue on March 18th & 19th from noon-7:00 PM. For more details and to RSVP click here.
Premiere via SPIN.
