From Elliott Smith to Spank Rock, Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist and producer Felix Snow thrives on mixing and crossbreeding genres. After graduating from NYU's highly esteemed Clive Davis music program, Felix went on to develop a then unknown
SZA in New York City. His distinct sound caught the ears of worldwide publisher
Warner/Chappell Music, who he subsequently signed with before jetting to LA. In 2014, Felix found himself collaborating with top writers and major label recording artists such as Christina Aguilera, Cher Lloyd, Nicole Scherzinger, Leona Lewis, and Jess Glynne, just to name a few.
Now entering 2015, Felix is launching his own imprint called
EFFESS Records. The label's first release is a track by the man himself titled "Waiting On Your Love", on which Felix provides suitably stellar production over dancefloor ready vocals.
CLASH has already made "Waiting On Your Love" their
Track of The Day while also begging the question: "Could Felix Snow become a pop sensation?" - We think so.
