LL - S A L T

It's not easy to put London-based songstress LL (aka, Laura Louise) into one specific genre or category but with elegant, bass-driven production and her delicate and sensual vocals that combined have allusions to FKA twigs, Kelela and Banks, LL is fast-becoming one of 2016's most promising newcomers. Not bad for someone who only started making music a year ago. However, this purer artistry tends to express itself in LL's family - her great grandmother was one of Lewis Carroll's muses for Alice in Wonderland whilst her great grandfather was a celebrated artist, who exhibited at the V&A, National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery. There's no doubt that LL is next in line to export her own art onto the world.

Which brings us to today...

Having already impressed us along with other reputable music blogs like About To Blow, Best Before and FAME Magazine with her debut single, "L I E", that was also chosen by CLASH as their Track Of The Day, LL returns to do it once more with her lastest single entitled "S A L T", which once again sees her teaming up with producer Eclectic, who has previously collaborated with artists such as Little Simz, YAHYAH and The Hics.

"I think we use gender, sexuality and age too quickly - there are more interesting ways to describe myself and others." - LL
