Just a couple days ago, Los Angeles-based duo XYLØ, comprised of siblings Chase and Paige Duddy, celebrated the one year anniversary of the release of their critically acclaimed debut single "America", which has since garnered well over 1.6 million plays on Soundcloud, as well as reached #1 on Hype Machine. And now today, they are back to share their latest offering titled "BLK CLD" (Black Cloud), which serves as the sixth and final track to be lifted from their highly anticipated debut EP, also titled America, due out tomorrow (February 26th) via Sony's new imprint, Disruptor Records.
Speaking on the EP, XYLØ's Chase Duddy explains:
"This EP was created out of my home studio which I had built in just two weeks. We instantly jumped into creating XYLØ, making our vision come to life. We had very little money and resources to get the project off the ground. We collaborated on the song writing, which I then produced and mixed all out of my garage. To me this EP represents the inception of XYLØ and making music independently. We're now fortunate to be under Disruptor Record's wing with the launch of the America EP."
