Introducing 20-year-old Brighton-based singer/songwriter Mariella West, who has today unveiled her debut single called "Sober". Produced by
Tim Bidwell, whose previous credits include artists like Kate Walsh, Jack Watts and Jennifer Left, "Sober" reflects an eclectic mix of influences such as contemporary soulstress Jill Scott and sonically takes 60s-70s elements from the likes of The Isley Brothers and incorporates them into a modern-soul sound, layered with emotive and personal lyricism. "Sober" is just the the first of many more milestones coming up for this exciting DIY soul artist.
