r00ms - Bittersweet Company

Los Angeles-based duo r00ms is a project born from a hidden romance. Two musicians who spent years in another band while keeping both their relationship and music a secret in an effort to preserve group dynamics. However, no longer in the dark, r00ms is finally releasing the collection of work written during that period of privacy.

Last year the pair were first introduced to audiences after an early demo of their track "Promises" received airplay and support from BBC Radio 6. Shortly after, the band garnered extensive online coverage when they were featured as one of the thirteen original artists (alongside Florence & The Machine, Kings of Leon, and My Morning Jacket) to record their haunting rendition of the Eagles of Death Metal's "I Love You All The Time" on behalf of the Play It Forward Charity Campaign to benefit the victims of the Paris terror attacks. Now currently putting the finishing touches on their debut EP, which is slated to drop later this year, the duo have unveiled their first official single called "Bittersweet Company", a track that is as alluring as it is ethereal.
