Fjer - Her Turn

New York-based Danish singer/songwriter and producer Maja Barløse, aka Fjer has today unveiled her intoxicating one-off single called "Her Turn", produced by Lennart Rasmussen. The song's steely futuristic production serves as the perfect sound bed for Fjer's sultry vocals dealing with the dual themes of embittered lovers and the fickle nature of the public eye. With limited opportunities for female artists, the question of "I know that it’s her turn, when will it be mine?" is a strong one. Is this a love song? Is it social commentary?
