Born in inner-city Bogotá but now based in London, emerging newcomer Lao Ra returns today with the unveiling of her vibrant new single called "Drum Machine", which also serves as the first piece of original music she's shared since her debut EP, Jesus Made Me Bad was released earlier this year. Continuing Lao Ra's balance of the tropical with the topical, "Drum Machine" was lyrically influenced by the idea of transformation while filtering a love of Latin-inspired tones and textures through bouncing, contemporary electronics.
Speaking on the track, Lao Ray says:
"'Drum Machine' is about celebrating the way you are and embracing your own personal rhythm."
