Jagara are three sisters from North London, named after a female warrior character from the anime world. Today, Jagara have unveiled their new single called "Let Me Go", which was produced by Charlie Hugall (Florence and the Machine, Crystal Fighters) and was written after binge watching German spy drama Deutschland 83. Inspired by driving soundscapes of Kate Bush, especially on Hounds of Love, as well as Joy Division, Tears for Fears and Nick Cave, all of whom they tried to capture in the song, the pulsating synths and 808 drums add a constant backdrop of tension throughout, building and building until an eventual release, to mirror the development of the lead character's story. "Let Me Go" is a song about identity and growing up - about remembering who you are even when everything around you is changing.
