FRND - Be Happy

Enigmatic Los Angeles-based producer and musician FRND (pronounced "Friend") has just unveiled the animated music video for his new single, "Be Happy", which was created by Sarah Hampton and Benjamin Van Den Broeck and features the animated koala bear character that represents the singer's mysterious identity. "Be Happy" also serves as the lastest in a string of super successful releases, following "Substitute", "Sticks And Stones" and "Friend", all of which have collectively amassed roughly 5 millions plays on Spotify. The mystery surrounding FRND's identity continues to linger with his latest earworm once again breaking barriers with his signature "emo-electronic" sound.

Speaking on the track and video, FRND says:

"The video for 'Be Happy' centers around the emotional journey after a relationship. I wanted to make something that felt real and related to the stages you go through when realizing what is truly important in your life. Though the koala embodies the emotion and lyrics of the song, look out for the sloth."

"Be Happy" is out now via Crooked Paintings and available on iTunes.
