WASI - Floor Talk

Los Angeles-based riot-pop duo WASI (an acronym for We Are/She Is), comprised of Merilou "Cosmo" Salazar (vocals, guitar, synths) and Jessie Meehan (vocals, bass, synths) have just unveiled their infectious new single called "Floor Talk", which was produced in collaboration with fellow LA outfit New Beat Fund and also serves as the opening track to be lifted from their forthcoming second EP titled Coup, due for release on May 9th.

Speaking on the track, the duo says:

"This song talks about our anxieties of taking risks and the search of calmness in your thoughts. This song goes out to all the minimum wage jobs we've gotten fired from, the shame we've felt through the process of coming out of the closet, and a search for power within yourself after growing up in only understanding turbulence and fear. This song (and EP) will tell our story the best we can as a DIY, queer duo. We hope it speaks to you."

"Floor Talk" is available now on iTunes.
