Kohla - _Gorgeous

Having already treated fans to unforgettable gems such as "S/He", "Pxrxdise" and most recently, "T O U C H", Edinburgh-based electronic R&B artist Rachel Alice Johnson, aka Kohla has today released her fourth single called "_Gorgeous", produced in collaboration with Dave Lloyd. Easily her most impressive offering to date. "_Gorgeous" a minimal and somewhat magical 90's trip-hop infused tune with Kohla's feathery vocals taking center stage while the song itself pulls inspiration from women with a sassy, body-positive message.

Speaking on the track, Kohla shares:

"After a summer of listening to retro trip hop (Moby, Tricky, Massive Attack) I wanted to combine a vintage vibe with contemporary beats (Grimes, Janelle Monae). I think it's been the most creative track we've made in studio thus far - we actually finished the production in just a couple of hours. It had a woozy-flow which was super adaptable for layering melodies, which is my favourite part of writing."
