One of our personal favorites, Melbourne-based dub-disco collective Passerine, led by singer/songwriter Phoebe Dubar alongside James Bowers (keys), Diego Villalta (guitar), Julio Castillo (bass), Alex Gooding (drums), Will Cassell (sax) and Ben Harrison (trumpet) have just released their long-awaited 7-track, self-titled debut EP. The EP includes all three of their previously released singles; "Ready to Begin, "Paris Morning" and their most recent single, "Free Again" as well as "What About Love" plus two more previously unreleased tracks, "Only Strangers" and "No Love Lost". And to top it all off they've even included Sydney-based producer Yama Indra, aka Gloves' remix of "Paris Morning" to close out the EP with. Needless to say, this EP has been one we've been waiting a while for and at last it's finally arrived, consisting of one infectious disco track after another.
