Fresh on the Australian music scene, Melbourne-based artist LANKS, otherwise known as the solo project of multi-instrumentalist and producer Will Cuming has just releasd his debut EP, Thousand Piece Puzzle. The self-produced 6-track EP includes his previously released singles "Knife and Spear" and "Rises and Falls" (video below). While continuing to front his seven-piece band Farrow, LANKS is a mature new side project with traditional folk storytelling in the modern framework of electronic music; taking parts from Radiohead's intricate grooves, Bon Iver's vocal layering and Jamie XX's famed dead space.
In support of the EP's release, LANKS will be hitting the road with his 4 piece band, playing Melbourne at The Grace Darling Hotel on June 20th and Sydney at Upstairs Beresford on June 27th.
