Scarlet Baxter - Stuck

If you haven't already heard her name, yet, then meet London-based UK soul/R&B and pop star in the making Scarlet Baxter – the fierce new female solo artist with a killer voice, whose name is on everyone's lips. After the imminent success of her debut single "Backsliding", which currently has over 45,000 YouTube views, Scarlet is hot on the heels to release her eagerly anticipated second single, "Stuck". A sultry and soothing ballad that allows her to convey dynamic emotions, as well as show off her powerful vocal diversity.



Scarlet is no stranger to the spotlight since winning performance contests as young as 14 years of age. Later, she went through years of intense musical theater training to reach her dream of performing and being on stage, and although the musical theater is not reflected in her earthy style, she did learn the art of performance and gain confidence in her own ability and put the passion into what she really wants to do and that's to create music and sing her heart out.

More recently, she's attracted the attention of some of the top people in the music industry, like The Super Stylers who remixed her previous single, and has made a big name for herself on both her local London scene, and national media.

Drawing on the chilled out R&B influences from her childhood, Scarlet and her co-writers Dominic Ireland, Billboard winning producer John McLaughlin, Jud Mahoney (Chris Brown, Usher, Mariah Carey), and Natalie DeLucia (Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera) have collaborated together to write an amorous track, about being stuck in love with someone who you don't necessarily want to be with.
