Less than a month since releasing her new single "Steve McQueen" (produced by P'Nut), Copenhagen-raised, London-based singer/songwriter Iris Gold and singer/producer MNEK have just teamed to present us with their brand new collaborative single - a rather brilliant cover of Egyptian Lover's "Freakaholic" which brings together deep analogue bass and neon-lit synth funk and combines it with Iris' playful vocals and MNEK's backing hooks. As previously noted in the track's description box on Soundcloud, the collaboration was born spontaneously in the studio when Iris showed MNEK the video for the original on YouTube, soon the two decided the sexy 80’s funk-house gem was due for an update.
