King Deco - Castaway

At long last we finally get to share some new music from rising New York-based Jordanian indie pop songstress Dana Salah, aka King Deco. Having previously collaborated with A-list talent from Larzz Principato (Halsey’s "New Americana") to Kinetics & One Love (B.o.B's "Airplanes" and Melanie Martinez's "Dollhouse") as well as contributing her vocals talents to stellar tracks from artists like ROOM8, Sound Remedy and Illenium, King Deco has today unleashed her long-awaited new single called "Castaway", a refreshing wash of bouncy steel drums and bubbly vocals that float effortlessly over colorful synths.

Speaking on the track, King Deco explains:

"A lot of my music has to do with the idea of breaking free and growing the courage to go against the grain when you need to. It also explores what it's like to be a woman in number of different situations. I rarely write straight up love songs but when I do I like to approach it in a very fun, comedic, tongue-in-cheek kind of way."

"Castaway" will be released on March 4th.

Premiere via Billboard.
