Minden - Artist Statement

After having first come to our attention roughly a month ago with the release of their previous single, "Real Sugar", Portland-based quintet Minden are back today with another groovy slice of indie pop perfection in the form of their new single called "Artist Statement", which also serves as the second track to be lifted from their forthcoming sophomore album, Sweet, Simple Things, due out on August 5th via Hit City U.S.A.

Speaking on the the track, frontman Casey Burge explains:

"'Artist Statement' has to do with the way people choose to present themselves, which angles someone takes and why. More specifically, it's about an internet friendship with someone who lives on the other side of the world and the opportunities and dilemmas that accompany this modern era of instant communication."
