After having released her previous single, "
Colour Sum" nearly a year ago, New Zealand singer/songwriter Chelsea Jade makes a very welcome return today with her new offering called "Life of the Party", which was co-written and produced by
Leroy "Big Taste" Clampitt, who has previously worked with the likes of Justin Bieber, Maty Noyes, and Jake Miller. Chelsea's feathery vocals and poignant lyricism sit perfectly on top of pristine electronic pop production to make "Life of the Party" hands down one of the best new songs we've heard all year. Chelsea has also
hinted that this new single could be the first glimpse at a larger body of work. Perhaps her long-awaited debut full-length will finally drop sometime this year. We can only hope.
