Not only an exceptional musician but an a remarkable human being who has used her own past struggles with mental health to help and educate others, Canadian-born, Los Angeles-based alt-pop singer/songwriter X. ARI has just unveiled her sleek new video for "Stay v Go", one of the many standout singles taken from her recently released second EP, Dis-Order. The EP was released earlier this summer along with her Self Care Line with a portion of the proceeds going to Jack.org, a Canadian charity that inspires and empowers young people to be leaders in creating conversations about mental health and encouraging their peers to take care of themselves and each other.
Speaking on the track and video, X. ARI explains:
"'Stay v Go' is a confidence anthem about being vulnerable with love. Essentially it’s about putting yourself out there without knowing if the feeling is requited. There's a lot of insecurity in the world and it's sung from a place of healthy esteem and curiosity. The music video is a performance video with the focus being on the contrast of the stoic version of my personality against the goofy side of me. Essentially I am showing 'if you want to stay you'll see' the crazy, the serious, and everything in between."
