Avante Black - Make A Mess

Multi-national act Avante Black, led by lead singer Ottilia Zimmerman Kjulsten, a 22-year-old Swedish native now living in London, along with fellow Swede Emil, Italian Gabs and British drummer Dean, have today shared their new single called "Make A Mess", the follow-up to their debut single, "Drug Money", which received widespread acclaim from a plethora of tastemaking music sites such as Nylon, The Line of Best Fit, Wonderland, Popjustice, and Idolator, as well as a Top 3 chart position on Hype Machine. Written by Ottilia herself and with psychedelic production from Luke Smith (Foals, Petite Noir), "Make A Mess" tells it straight about the moment when you’re breaking up with someone and realize it’s not fixable. With compelling lyrics that speak for her generation, Ottilia and the band exude an attitude that embodies both current discomfort and complacency. With unexpected and expansive melodies, the band’s screwy euphoria has hit home across international borders.
